"We notice an increased interest in requests to redecorate the house and adapt it to the new lifestyle"

Forbes Romania challenged the most well-known players in the local business environment to answer a short questionnaire, in a special context, in which the summer of 2021 should represent an expected return to the (new) normal. Cristina Căpitanu, co-founder of Lemon Interior Design, spoke about the challenges and lessons of the last year, but also about the importance of continuity in business.

"The lack of predictability was indeed one of the challenges that all businesses faced in the pandemic. However, with the start of the year and the vaccination campaign we can already talk about an improvement and a higher dose of stability. For the summer of this year, we will continue the residential development projects, the pandemic offered a new perspective on the comfort of our own homes, so there is a high demand for this segment. We notice an increased interest in requests to redecorate the house and adapt it to the new lifestyle or to arrange a new, larger, more spacious home with generous terraces or gardens. People have realized during this period how much the balance and harmony of the space in which we spend a lot of time matters.”
