The Middle Way reflects this approach through the monumental representation of a recognisable human gesture. By changing its scale and placing it within an architectural environment, the artist invites viewers to reconsider an everyday form from a different perspective.

The sculpture creates a visual dialogue between the human body and the built environment, demonstrating how contemporary art can introduce new layers of meaning into the spaces we experience.

Bogdan Rață

Bogdan Rața (b. 1984, Baia Mare, Romania) is a Romanian sculptor whose work challenges conventional representations of the human body.

Through enlarged, fragmented and reconfigured anatomical forms, Rața transforms familiar elements into unexpected sculptural compositions, exploring themes of identity, perception and physical presence.
