In northern Bucharest, a former industrial platform left abandoned for over 20 years has been completely transformed by One United Properties into a modern mixed-use urban development.

Today, the area is home to a fully functional ensemble that includes residential buildings, commercial spaces, a cultural hub, and class A office spaces, all integrated into a sustainable infrastructure.

This project is a concrete example of responsible urban regeneration, with a strong focus on quality of living and reconnecting the city with previously unused spaces.

The development brings together complementary functions:

  • 245 apartments across three residential towers;

  • A commercial gallery and event spaces;

  • A green-certified office building with a total surface area of over 23,000 sqm;

  • Dedicated infrastructure with pedestrian access, green areas, and underground parking.

Designed to offer a balance between personal and professional life, the project contributes to the sustainable growth of the Floreasca district while helping reduce pressure on city traffic and public infrastructure.

“A mixed-use development means creating a community in the northern part of the Capital while also giving back an abandoned area to the public,”

said Beatrice Dumitrașcu, CEO Residential Division, One United Properties, during the “City of Tomorrow” series produced in partnership with Digi24.

This reconversion is part of One United Properties’ broader commitment to investing in better-connected, more sustainable cities that are shaped around people. Beyond construction, each project we develop plays a role in reshaping Bucharest into a more functional and inclusive city.
