The eighth edition of Forbes Best Office Buildings Gala - The New Way of Working 2022 is the event dedicated to the most relevant real estate projects in the office segment in Romania and gathered top players in the local real estate market.
At the gala on February 24, One United Properties won two awards: Most Important Delivery in 2021 and Listing of the Year. The event was attended by Mihai Păduroiu, CEO of the Office Division, and Cosmin Samoilă, CFO One United Properties.
Last year, on July 12, the company's shares floated on BVB, One United Properties being the largest real estate developer listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange. Starting with September 20, 2021, ONE shares are included in the BET index, which follows the evolution of the 19 most liquid companies listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, and starting with December 20, 2021, ONE shares are included in the FTSE Global All Cap index, which follows the most liquid actions in the world.

During the panel discussion of the gala, Mihai Păduroiu underlined:
“The pandemic has substantially changed the priorities on the agenda of any tenant. Before the pandemic, companies were cost-oriented and looked at offices from that perspective in the first place. The pandemic put the number of certifications and the quality of office space on the agenda of tenants.”
He also said that the developer is still interested in building only mixed projects:
“It takes flexibility and creativity to be able to accommodate the new requirements of companies. It is an accelerated maturation from which the employees have the most to gain and will receive more attractive offices.”
