One United Properties (BVB: ONE), the leading green investor and developer of residential, office and mixed-use real estate in Romania, hosted the launch of One Sculpture Park on Sunday, 18 October. The open-air exhibition of contemporary sculpture is set in the public plaza of the One Floreasca City development. The initiative aims to bring contemporary art closer to the public, and the 12 works will remain on view for one year. Admission is free.

One Sculpture Park brings together 12 large-scale works by Romanian artists, including Peter Jecza, Bogdan Rață, Șerban Ionescu, Liliana Mercioiu Popa, Cosmin Moldovan, Bianca Man and Gheorghe Mureșan. The works are placed throughout the public spaces of One Floreasca City (165 Calea Floreasca), along the walkways and in the plaza, where residents and passers-by can come across them naturally. The project is part of the Romanian Art Week 2026 programme and was initiated by the Transform București Association and the Jecza Foundation.

The launch event was attended by Andrei Jecza, curator of this selection of contemporary sculpture, several of the artists, representatives of One United Properties and Romanian Art Week 2026, as well as art enthusiasts. For one year, the works can be seen by anyone passing through the Floreasca neighbourhood, and the story behind each piece can be read on the dedicated project page. One United Properties intends this to be a long-term initiative, with the works on display renewed every year.

”When we build a neighbourhood, we are really shaping the everyday lives of the people who live there. Buildings are only part of that story. They are complemented by what happens in the spaces between them, whether it is an event, a gallery or a place to meet friends. We believe that art in public space plays exactly this role: it brings people together, and it speaks to everyone, not only to those who go to museums. We are glad to support such an initiative and that, from today, Bucharest has a place where contemporary sculpture can be seen every day. One Sculpture Park is not a one-off project, but an art trail we want to continue year after year,”

said Victor Căpitanu, cofounder and co-CEO of One United Properties.

One Sculpture Park continues a direction ONE embarked on several years ago. For the One Herăstrău Park development, the company commissioned a large-scale sculpture from Spanish artist Jull, placed at the very heart of the ensemble: a hand protecting the Earth, conceived by the artist as a symbol of the balance between people and the world around them. On the ground floor of the One Herăstrău Vista residential development, the Jecza & Olaru gallery, dedicated to contemporary art and collectible design, brings the contemporary art scene into the everyday life of a residential neighbourhood.
