In a recent discussion with the editor-in-chief of Forbes Romania, Ionuț Bonoiu, the co-founder of One United Properties spoke about the achievements of the past year for the company he runs, as well as the plans for the next period.

"In the last 10 years we have grown at an average rate of 100% per year. In the last three years we have grown at an average rate of 40% per year, and in the next decade we will grow at an average rate of 15% per year. In the next 10 years we will be four times bigger than now",

said Victor Căpitanu.

The discussion between the two focused mainly on the year-on-year evolution of the company and the vision that led the two founders to look at the Bucharest real estate landscape with great optimism. The year 2023 marked an end-of-cycle for the developer, as it delivered 1,430 apartments across four developments, out of a total of around 2,500 units delivered since the company's existence, as Forbes related. Victor Căpitanu believes that, although the last two years have been more difficult, Romania's economy has passed through the shocks well and he is confident that it will register a significant growth in the coming years, which all "serious companies" in the country will benefit from. In frequent contact with international investors, the founder of One United Properties observes a constant improvement of Romania's image on the global stage.

In terms of expanding its portfolio, the company is constantly exploring new terrains and opportunities. In November 2023, One United Properties announced a €57 million contract to turnkey a 20,000 sqm sustainable office complex, One Technology District, for 2,000 Infineon Technologies employees. In addition, the developer is collaborating with the Ennismore group to launch a Mondrian-branded hotel in Bucharest, a project strategically located near the Romanian Athenaeum that marks One's debut in the hospitality market.
